Interview: JG Roshell

Ryan from Heroes-Wiki has recently interviewed JG Roshell of Comicraft, who is responsible for all of the lettering for the Heroes graphic novels.

From Ryan:

In fact, he's done every single novel until about month ago. He also designed the 9th Wonders message board, and he was recently nominated for an Eisner Award for his design of the hardback graphic novel collection. Interview: Mark Sable

Thanks again to our friend Ryan over at Heroes-Wiki, for keeping us posted about his recent interview with Mark Sable - the writer behind Heroes graphic novels Blackout and Faces.

From Ryan:

Mark talks about the collaboration process, especially with the new Company story arcs planned for the summer. He also gives great insight into the last two novels he wrote, answers some nagging questions, and talks about the primatechpaper.com assignment tracker profile for Connie Logan, including her cool new power of altering appearances.


Ryan's previous interview with Mark was conducted with artist Jason Badower, and focused on their novel Blackout.

Interview: Robert Atkins

Thanks again to our friend Ryan over at Heroes-Wiki, for keeping us posted about his recent interview with Robert Atkins - the artist who did "Pieces of Me" and "Bounty Hunter".

From Ryan:

In this interview, Robert is really detailed about his process, and gives quite a good amount of background information.
Ryan also will also soon be conducting an interview R.D. Hall, who wrote two novels in the Hana/Drucker saga, plus "Bounty Hunter", and the graphic novel due to be released tomorrow.

Interview: Micah Gunnell

Thanks again to our friend Ryan over at Heroes-Wiki, for letting us know about his recent interview with Micah Gunnell. Micah has done the art for fifteen Heroes graphic novels (more than any other artist) including today's comic.

From Ryan:

In my opinion, some of his most memorable work includes the "Wireless" series, "The History of a Secret", and "Normal Lives".

In the interview, Micah talks about his background and about each of his "Heroes" novels. He also talks about the future of Abu Aswan, "crack smoker Marion Barry", and that always mysterious Easter Egg "soma".

Interview: Tim Kring

As you probably know, Tim Kring is the creator, an executive producer, and a writer for Heroes.

New Interviews: Adam Armus & Kay Foster, Nate Goodman

Props go once again to our friend Ryan Gibson Stewart, from Heroes Wiki, who informed us that he recently conducted two new interviews!

The first one is with Adam Armus and Kay Foster:

Adam and Kay are producers for "Heroes", and they have also written several episodes ("Homecoming", "Run!", and "The Line").
They entertainingly talk about each of their episodes, discuss "Heroes" in general, and even give some hints about Volume Three.


The second interview is with Nate Goodman:

Nate is a director of photography for "Heroes", and has worked on a majority of the episodes.
He talks at length about his role as cinematographer, and about the process of filming for special effects.
He also talks about cinematic influences on the show and gives a good glimpse of the preparation and work that goes into any given scene.

Just a reminder to check out the all-day marathons of season one episodes this Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28 on G4.

Need more? You're in luck! In case you haven't read our previous announcement:

Next week, the first six episodes of season two will air on Saturday, November 3 from 5:00-11:00pm et/pt, followed by the Heroes Post Show at 11pm (read here for details).

G4 will then regularly air each week's current episode of Heroes on Saturdays at 10:00pm et/pt. The Heroes Post Show will continue to air on Saturdays at 11:00pm et/pt and will repeat on Sundays at 6pm.

G4 and the Heroes Post Show

In case you haven't yet heard the news, G4 will soon be airing episodes of
“Heroes”. They will also be featuring a live show that will offer the “Heroes” fanbase a lot of great interactive content -- including a Heroes-Clues.com feature!

G4 will kick things off with all-day marathons of season one episodes on Saturday, October 27 and Sunday, October 28. The first six episodes of season two will air on Saturday, November 3 from 5:00-11:00pm et/pt, followed by the Heroes Post Show at 11pm (read further for details). G4 will then regularly air each week's current episode of Heroes on Saturdays at 10:00pm et/pt.

Additionally, (now this is the really cool part, so pay attention) G4 will present a live, half-hour “Heroes” wrap-up show immediately following each regularly scheduled episode. “The Post Show,” premiering Saturday, November 3 at 11:00pm et/pt, will feature live chats and polls, exclusive interviews with cast and crew members, behind-the-scenes footage, and other content exclusive to G4. The show will repeat on Sundays at 6pm.
