“Create Your Hero” contest is back!

The “Create Your Hero” contest is back!
This winter, the “Create Your Hero” contest let us viewers have a hand in creating a new hero from scratch - via weekly votes for his/her specific attributes. Each week, Sprint users also got their own unique question. Two heroes were created: Audrey and Santiago.

Now it is time to vote! The winning character will appear as the subject of a brand new Live Action web series written by the creators of Heroes, debuting around the November sweeps week.

If you were at the San Diego Comic-Con this past week, you may have also noticed that “Create Your Hero” promo was live at the NBC booth with giveaways and exclusive comic books with an illustration by the late Michael Turner.

The “Create Your Hero” website is up and running, so go vote!

Create Your Hero: Vote for Santiago and Audrey

Thanks to our NBC liaison for letting us know that the next phase of the Create Your Hero promotion is up and running:

The two Heroes designed by you, the fans, have been created. At the Create Your Hero section of the NBC site you can now check out the stories for Santiago and Audrey. There you can also vote to determine which one of them will appear in a new, online-only, live action series - or you can text your choice via your Sprint phone: text A to 6789 for Santiago, text B to 6789 for Audrey.

In case you didn't read our earlier announcement of the promotion, here is a quick description:

This is YOUR chance to create a new hero, in collaboration with other Heroes fans! The new hero will be featured in a new series of live action webisodes which will likely launch in early spring. The character may also be included in the show itself.

You can vote each week through December 17th, either online or via text exclusively on Sprint phones (HEROES text 6789), to choose all the characteristics of this new hero.

Starting today, the NBC Heroes site has launched a Create Your Hero promotion. From our insider:

Heroes fans can go online on their computer or mobile phone and select characteristics for a new Hero, who will be built based on the most-picked traits. Each week, the Hero will evolve based on the fans' input, and he or she will be shown on air every Monday.

You can participate online and by cell phone using an enabled Sprint handset. Right now the promotion is in "Phase One" which will continue until December 10th. During this phase, participants will assist in the creation of one male and one female hero by answering pre-selected questions about the hero's attributes and characteristics.
"Phase Two" is set to begin around January 1st, and details on that portion will be posted in mid-December.
